HBH 1890 April 23rd Court Resident Magistrate Court Before Mr G A PREECE R.M. Catherine ROSE charged with assaulting Jane Mc KEOWN, a child. The case was dismissed, both parties to pay their own costs. Catherine ROSE sued to have Rebecca Mc KEOWEN charged Catherine ROSE with using obscene language. His Worship reserved his decision in both cases. Francis SPRING fined 10s and costs for drunkenness Charles BUTLER, an inmate of the refuge, sentenced to ? months' hard labour for assaulting the matron of that institution. George RYMER was fined 1s and costs in each of the three cases in which he was charged with plying for hire with vehicles not licensed as hackney carriages.
