Judy Weller Letters by the last mail record the death of Mr Hugh Alexander DUFF, at EDDERTON, ROSS-SHIRE, SCOTLAND. Mr DUFF was a very early settler in HAWKE'S BAY, coming here in the 60's, his first position being as manager of Mr Hugh TANNER'S RUATANIWHA property. Afterwards he and Mr A. DUBB took up land in the KERERU, but he leased his interest some time ago and went to SCOTLAND to live.
