Judy Weller Mr ? SALEK, of WANGANUI, applied on Saturday morning to the Stipendiary Magistrate, NAPIER, for a license to open a pawnbroking establishment in this town. The applicant was highly spoken of by Sergeant CULLEN, of WANGANUI, and the application was granted. We may add that if it be advisable to establish a pawnshop in NAPIER, it could not be in better hands than those of Mr SALEK, whose reputation as an energetic, experienced, and honorable business man stands high in TIMARU and WANGANUI.
