Judy Weller It is with much regret that we chronicle the death of Mr Henry ELLISON which took place at his residence, Fitzroy road, last evening. Deceased, who was only 44 years of age, was originally a civil engineer and surveyor, but his health failing he betook himself to the more sedentary occupation of journalism, and became proprietor and editor of the Wairoa Guardian........ He had in previous years suffered from internal complications, and on Saturday evening last he was attacked with pneumonia, and in spite of constant care, medical and domestic, he sank rapidly finally passing away peacefully in his sleep as above......... The funeral takes place this afternoon.
