I contacted births, deaths and marriages and after much searching they found him on their 1874 death register, (as adolph. bisson) having died in Napier aged 4.? I then asked Napier City Council if they had a burial record for that name,?which they did not.? Much more searching on the web?and I found him wrongly transcribed as adolphete bissan.? Another email to Napier City Council and they found him recorded as adolphete bisan and buried in the old Napier hill cemetery, in area 1859-1895, section one, plot/niche No 718.? Does anyone know how I would go about finding out where this would be in the cemetery?? Does somebody have a map of the cemetery?
