HBH 1896 March 4 3 CATTERTHUN Wreck Australia Coast Since the wreck of the CATTERTHUN, off the Australian coast, 10,000 sovereigns have lain at the bottom of the sea in security by reason of the great depth of the water. In order to recover the treasure the underwriters recently ordered a deep sea diving apparatus, and a trial was made outside the harbor. The diver reached 35 ½ fathoms without the least distress. Operations at the wreck will shortly be undertaken.
