HBH 18900 July 16 Crown Lands Guide We have received the Crown Lands Guide for the Hawke's Bay District, corrected up to the 30th of last month. Any person desiring a copy can obtain it free by applying at the Crown Lands Office, NAPIER. The list of sections show a great deal more than is generally supposed, and includes land open for lease, deferred payment purchase or purchase for cash, and the sections range from a rood up to 1500 acres in area. Some taking block up to 600 acres are scheduled in WAIPAWA and PATANGATA counties, the prices ranging from 10s an acre in the WEBER district for "fair land with uncleared bush," up to £1 an acre for "good land, bluestone formation," in the WAKARARA survey district.
