    3. HB Herald, Tues. June 26, 1894 At the Magistrate's Court yesterday, before Dr. SPENCER and Mr J.W. NEAL, Justices, James NEALE, for drunkenness, was cautioned and discharged. William NEWRICK, for allowing two horses to wander, was fined 2s and costs. Alfred ANDERSON, a boy, was charged with assaulting a boy named William La BROOM, and the mother of the latter, Ellen La BROOM was charged with using provoking and insulting language to Christina ANDERSON, mother of the first-named lad. Mr DINWIDDIE appeared for La BROOM and Mr KENNEDY for ANDERSON. The Bench dismissed both cases, and cautioned the boy ANDERSON, remarking that he appeared to have been the cause of all the trouble. Thomas Arthur WALKER, who last week pleaded guilty to a charge of stealing a horse, and concerning whose sanity doubts were expressed, was yesterday sentenced to nine months hard labor. James REYNOLDS, who had pleaded guilty to stealing post letters, was brought up for sentence.......His Honor said that he would like a report by the Probation Officer, and ordered prisoner to be brought up again on Friday for sentence.......
