    3. HB Herald, June 5, 1894 Dr. BAKEWELL announces in our advertising columns that as he is leaving Napier at the end of this week he can only be consulted until Thursday evening. At the Magistrate's Court on Saturday, before Mr TURNBULL, S.M., Margaret HUNTER, on remand charged with the larceny of underclothing, was sentenced to seven days' hard labor. The Hawke's Bay hounds met on Saturday at Flaxmere Gate. There was a large turn-out, and a good run of some miles over a course including portions of the properties of Messrs WILLIAMS, ORMOND, and RUSSELL. There were a few large fences, but all were negotiated safely, the run being a very pleasant one. The many friends of Mr D.A. STURROCK will be glad to learn that the committee of the Blenheim school district have unanimously recommended his appointment to be head-master of the large school there. Mr STURROCK will be missed in Napier. His work at the Napier school has been high-class, and he has also been prominent in musical circles. The Blenheim Board of Education meet to-morrow, and will no doubt adopt the recommendation.
