Sandra , I have the marriage print out for Edward Michael Comerford aged 30 and Kathleen Frances O'Connor aged 21 in Auckland 1953. That could be the same one . When the grandfather of that Kathleen died in Wellington Maurice O'Connor the orbit in Wellington paper states ."Napier,Christchurch ,Timaru and Kerry Ireland please note".so most likely is the same Edward Michael Comerford . But strange it did not say Sydney also as their son John Edward and Mary Josephine lived in Sydney.
