HBH 1892 September 9 Inter Colonial Rifle Meeting Wellington Thursday The Government will grant 200 rounds of Martini ammunition free to each man going to the New South Wales Rifle Association meeting, but will not organise teams for the inter-colonial match. The Union Steamship Company Will grant return passages at single rates, the fare from Wellington being £7. Entries for all matches cost £3 6s, and rations in Sydney 30/-(shillings) per week. Intending competitors should acquaint themselves with Major SOMMERVILLE, of Wanganui without delay, and practice ammunition will be forwarded. The men should leave not later than the 8th of October, and the trip will take 23 days. New Zealand entries can be taken on arrival at Sydney.
