His brothers, George and William Edward were missionaries in Madagascar, his sister Mary Jane married Samuel James Whitmee a missionary in Samoa, she died young Samuel married again and his daughter Mary Jane married Arthur Dixon Cousins the son of George (my ggrandfather) who was a missionary in China.
