Dr. BAKEWELL, whose recent article in the Nineteenth Century on "Woman Suffrage in New Zealand" has been so widely canvassed and discussed, has decided to practice his profession in Napier for a time. He has taken rooms in Herald Chambers, Tennyson-street. Mr E.H. BOLD, who is leaving Napier to take charge of the Auckland telegraph district, was yesterday presented by the officers of the Napier district with an electro-plated soup tureen, spirit kettle, and fish slice. Mr HARRINGTON, officer in charge, made the presentation in a neat speech that was feelingly responded to by the recipient. Upon the tureen were engraved the following words:- "Presented to E.G. BOLD, Esq., by his fellow officers at the Napier telegraph district. May 25th, 1894."
