As we know the 'genie' groups are pretty good at sharing :-)) James Gartside CUPLAN (also spelt CULPAM) and Marion (aka Mary Ann) CULPAN are buried side by side at Purewa Cemetery and Crematorium. Take a look at www.purewa.co.nz and scroll down to Burial and Cremation Search. You will find quite a few others of this surname. Nothing for Hedg(e)cock at this cemetery.
