Hi everyone, nice to have a list just for Auckland. My ancestors were one part Fencibles and the other English. Michael MCMULLEN - a Fencible Soldier arrived on the 'ANN' in May 1848 with four lovely daughters - Mary, married Henry MITCHELL (Fencible) - Margaret (gggg/m) married George STRONG (sailor on the "ANN') - Roseanne, married Angelo PARAGEE - he died in a fire and she married George SMITH - Ellen, married John COOK. All these people lived in the city or Otahuhu and later in Onehunga. I have all of the descendants of George and Margaret, most of Henry and Mary Roseanne and Angelo, but nothing on John and Ellen. He was a bootmaker in Onehunga, have not been able to trace any children, their deaths or where they vanished too. If any one in the Auckland area recognises any names I would love to hear from you.
