Thjank you for all your replies and sorry do not know too much about them but she wore a brown habit. Prior to going in the convent she helped out teaching at St Mary's Convent in Meanee Taradale and was influenced by a close relation of her mother who happened to be Bishop Linehan or Joseph Lenihan. I thought that maybe they had a special house or place that they might have been altogether. I would suggest she was a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph founded in Australia by the Blessed Mary MacKillop. They were colloquially known as the Brown Joeys. They are based in New Zealand at Mission Bay in Auckland.
