    2. Ross Lind
    3. Dear list, I am looking for info on my Great grandfather Charles George WILLS Born Sydney Australia in 1880 (under Willis in the nsw bdms but his birth cert clearly shows Wills) he married Robina Maud Holmesby and my grandfather Charles Raymond Wills(aka Ray)was born in 1903 in Sydney Several years later the marriage broke up and divorced in 1911 Charles George was rumoured strongly to have gone to Auckland where he ?remarried and had at least one son. Someone phoned my grandfather in the 1950's to tell him of his fathers death. My mother has just turned 80 and would dearly love to find out about her grandfathers life and death I have searched lots of websites to no avail We think he probably illegally changed his name as he was wanted by police for failing to pay for my grandfathers upbringing Hoping to bring new info to his story-I have a photo of him when he was in his twenties if anyone has a rogue Australian grandfather in their family history! TIA Carol Carol & Ross Lind Perth, WA Australia

    3. Hello everyone Don't forget the LDS project for shipping that is being transcribed and added to their pilotsearch site. Click on to www.familysearch.org and then check the tab for pilot search, and search under Aus/NZ records. The passenger lists have been digitised. At this stage it is not all "searchable" but is "browsable". Cheers Karen

    3. Hi, Have been trying to locate an arrival in New Zealand of ship SS Mokoia in (possibly March) 1902 from Melbourne. The family I am looking for is Matthew MOLLARD, his wife Catherine (or Kate) and maybe 4 children aged between 6 and 14. Would any of your reference newspapers have mention of this family? The family was definitely there (in Auckland) by later in 1902 when another son Eric was born. Would appreciate any help you could give in this. I keep checking your posts to the NZ List in the hope.
