Service turnaround is pretty swift from my experience. 2) Visit http://archway.archives.govt.nz/ to see if your 'person' is listed with any documents, i.e. divorce, business, WILLS, 3) Apply for copy of WILLS/documents online but check the costings. HBH 1892 August 23 CURLING Edward S According to the Post, in the early days of the settlement of this district, Edward S. CURLING purchased a property and died, leaving it heavily involved in debt. His brother in England, Robert CURLING, took over the estate, paid all the debts, and expended large sums of money in developing the property, but never came to New Zealand. Mr J.C.ANDREW is now petitioning the House through Mr HOGG on behalf of Mr R. CURLING, against the payment of absentee tax, as the latter claims that he is now so old that to compel him to come here would be "dangerous to life," and he cannot "traverse half the globe" to avoid tax "unless prepared to die and become incorporated with the soil of New Zealand.
