She married Moses Wesley Bardeen about 1842; they were parents of four children: Rosannah, James, Cyrus and Phila. Moses died in 1869 and is buried in the Segar Cemetery in Yates county, NY. Where and when Hannah died are the answers I'm seeking. She is found in Italy in 1870, living in the household of Francis Kennedy, the widower of her sister, Phoebe Fisher. In 1879, a marriage notice appeared in a Steuben county newspaper for Mrs. Hannah Bardeen of Prattsburgh and Daniel Stevens of Wheeler, who married on 03 April 1879. The 1900 census shows her living with her son Cyrus G. Bardeen, listed as Hannah Stevens, mother of the head of the household, widow, born June 1823. I questioned the marriage announcement until finding the 1900 census but with the information listed there, it certainly appears that Hannah did marry Daniel Stevens. I have not been able to find her in the 1910 census or any death or burial record. Any clues would be greatly appreciated. This is also being posted to the Ontario and Steuben county sites. Thank you. Kathy Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
