Various Kennedy family members kept up with their line over the years and added to it as time went on. The original manuscript, was published in 1884, and outlines the family history from 884 to 1884. I believe that that is where I first came across a Kennedy/McConnell connection. When I started some ten years ago I did a lot of research in Scotland. The "MacConnell Family Genealogy"(McConnell,M'Connell)is correct in that Barbara A. Kennedy did come from Troquhain, where she was born. The family immigrated to America in 1847, so her being age 8 would be correct. She was a twin to Jane H. The next two siblings were born in Lockside, Balmaclellen, Scotland where I believe they emmigrated from. Sorry, Kathy, I'll stop here for now, as my mind tends to wander. I will get back to you!
