I'd never heard of it but it is of some interest to me as it seems to be close to Middlesex and I have a couple of elusive ancestors who seem to have taken their tombstones with them. There are many family cemeteries in the area.  These were all catalogued by Fran Dumas, County Historian, several years ago.  Her brilliant efforts produced six volumes on the Yates County Cemeteries.  They are available from the Yates County Historian's Office www.yatescounty.org    click on Departments, click on Historian.   I have a copy of the volume which contains Potter.  The Yatesville Cem. is located next to the Old Yatesville Meth.
