It is my understanding that they had four children (Leslie, b. 1922, is the oldest). I believe Eddie was mentally ill and sent to a hospital. Lela remarried to John Groom, who adopted their youngest son, Ervie (my husband's grandfather), and had three additional children. The family still lives in the area near Schuyler County in NY (just visited them this past month). I believe Eddie and Lela were married in Montour in 1918. Eddie worked on railroad bed construction. Eddie was born in Beaver Dams in 1886 to Evlyn and Ulissa Ann (Wight) Spielman, who were berry farmers near Watkins. Let me know what other information you are looking for and I can try to help.
