Houghtalings were of the early settlers of Dundee and Eddytown (now known as Lakemont). I have traced back Houghtaling as far back as 1644 coming from Holland and spelled at that time Hooghteling, so don't get hung up on the spelling. I know I have many spaces to fill in and have yet to visit the Milo church cemetery - but I am more directly related to the Nellie Houghtaling who married James B Campbell. they lived in branchport, Yates county, NY.
