Emmons/Emens/Emons, son of Richard and Sally Emmons, born on or about April 1829 in Steuben County and died after 1905, probably in Yates County. He was married secondly about 1879 to Mary E. (Horton) Wortman, daughter of Reuben and Sally A. Horton and widow of Ezra Wortman. Mary was born in Yates County, but lived a few years in Steuben County with Richard. They moved to Starkey by 1892 and were living in Barrington in 1900. Mary apparently died 1900-1905, but Richard still appeared in Barrington in the 1905 state census. He probably died 1905-1910.
