She was born Dec 10 1926 in the Town of Torrey, the daughter of Grover Cleveland and Betty Christina Peterson Travis. She was married to Robert J. Trenchard. Clarice "Pat" Trenchard was a longtime nurses aid at the Connolly Nursing Home, Lakemont. She was a graduate of Penn Yan Academy, a member of the Dundee United Methodist Church, The American Legion Auxiliary of Dundee and the Ladies Auxiliary Letter Carriers. Surviving are her husband, Robert J. Trenchard; two sons, Ralph T. Trenchard of Dundee and Cpl. Alvin E. Trenchard of the U.S. Marine Corps; two sisters, Hazel Fulkrod of Penn Yan and Mrs. Charles (Mildred) Palmitier of Penn Yan; two brothers, Lloyd Travis and George Travis, both of Penn Yan; two grandchildren. Friends may call at the Pennington Funeral Home in Dundee Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held there Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Benjamin Disbrow officiating. Burial Will be in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee. The American Legion Auxiliary memorial service will be held there Friday at 8:30 p.m. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Dundee Fire Department Ambulance Fund.
