Do you have any link to Mary Jane Shortsleeves? b. 1972 in Troy ny (Renn. Co.) she was my moms maternal g-mother. According to her obit. she was a "life-long" resident of Troy. She married Lebolt Rube. They had 1 daughter, Julia Veronica Rube b. 1890. For some reason her obit. lists 2 sisters, Mrs. William Tanner, and Della Trank Canova, and 3 brothers, David, Fred, and Albert Trank. All 3 boys were living in Troy NY. I cannot figure out how all Marys siblings could be Tranks. Have searched in vain for the connection ie...2nd marriages. Aside from her obit. I cannot prove Mary ever exsisted.
