Kennedy, 32, of Penn Yan, died Thursday , Nov 18, 1954, at the Smeal Nursing Home. He was born in the Town of Italy, the son of Claude and Fannie Ferris Kennedy. He leaves a daughter Claudia and a son Leonard both of Penn Yan, a sister Mrs Ralph Kellen (Ethelyn) of Penn Yan, a brother Sgt Donald Kennedy of Fort Bragg N.C.; and two half brothers Harold Bayles of Rochester and Ernest Bayles of Balitmore , Md. Funeral called at the Thayer Funeral chapel Friday and Saturday. Funeral services were held there Sunday at 2:30 pm with the Rev. Sheldon Stephenson, pastor of Penn Yan Methodist church officiating. Burial was in Italy Valley Cemetery. ============================================ I got a message from her and she said she checked the Penn Yan library and they have no record of his death.
