They were in a displaced person camp, and were refugees. Their nationality was Ukrainian. The were hosted by G.L. Bedient of Rock Stream, New York. I thought my mom called him "Jack", but I am not sure about that. On her naturalization papers, it lists it as G.L. Bedient. Does any one know who this may be? What do the initials stand for?
