ADAMS, b. abt 1807 in VT or NY; raised in Western NY, probably Ontario or Yates County. He is mentioned in Cleveland's 1873"History of Yates County" as a son of Asahel ADAMS and Polly LOWELL, and married to Esther LEE. He may have lived in Huron or Erie County, OH. He lived in St. Louis, MO; Delaware County, IA; Madison County, IL. Last documentation I've found for him is in the 1860 census in St. Louis. He possibly died aft 1860 in St. Louis. Looking for any info on his wives and children. I have a lot of info and speculation which I'd be happy share. John S.
