I am glad you gave me the fulton search site!! It is so very interesting. I found the obituaries you told about. I will so some research here in town about Lewis Cadwell. I think they made a mistake when they put Grace's last name as Goodwell in Nettie's obituary. I have found all sorts of articles about my Conley family. One I found by mistake is an article about Belle Ford Conley the third wife of Oliver Conley the son of my third great grandfather. They were married sometime after Oliver's wife and son, Harry, were killed in a freak accident. It seems Hannah Northrup (Judy Bailey thinks this is her name) was in the basement skimming milk and step-son, Harry Conley was carrying a pail and a child when a bolt of lightening came through the house and killed them instantly. The child he was carrying survived. There is an article about it in the Ontario County Journal dated Friday, July 26, 1889. Oliver died on May 11,1908 and Belle married Charles Robie Mills on April 7, 1912 in Hemlock and died on September 1920 according to one of the newspapers for 1920. "The body of Mrs. Belle Conley Mills was brought to Branchport for burial on Monday 13th. She was partially run over by a train of cars in Rochester and died before she could be conveyed to a hospital. She was the step-mother of Mrs. May Conley Chase." Hopefully I can do a little digging to find out a little more about her marriage and his death. I hope I can find out where she was buried as I cannot find it on line in the Yates County genweb site. The Conleys who were killed live in South Bristol on Tower Hill the highest pinnacle in Ontario County. Judith and I haven't been able to find out where they are buried. And if Mrs. Conley was Hannah Northrup Conley. Oliver was the son of my 3rd great grandfather. So I am going to be spending some time on this website looking. I really appreciate all the help you have given me. Janice Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
