Hi Yates County Members, I have a question about the Samuel Clark b 1777?in?Orange County;?family of Yates.? I have read the Stafford Cleveland book on the county and the various families; and it has been a tremendous help.? But would any of you know where Samuel and his wife Sarah Newman are buried at. I know Samuel lived at least until after 1870, but this is as far as I have gotten.? Karen Everett

I've "rescued" an old photograph of Alice SHOEMAKER which was taken at the L. Hillman Studio in Watkins, New York. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with Alice likely in her 30's at the time it was taken.
