    1. [NYYATES] Clark Family
    2. Hi Yates County Members, I have a question about the Samuel Clark b 1777?in?Orange County;?family of Yates.? I have read the Stafford Cleveland book on the county and the various families; and it has been a tremendous help.? But would any of you know where Samuel and his wife Sarah Newman are buried at. I know Samuel lived at least until after 1870, but this is as far as I have gotten.? Karen Everett

    3. Try this website http://www.usgennet.org/usa/ny/county/yates/yatessearch.htm and you can go down the list to RESOURCES, where you will find the county historian as well as town historians and local historical and research centers. You can also use the SEARCH engine on my website for the WHITNEY surname and you may find something for the family line you are seeking. Hope this helps.
