I am looking for information on my GreatGrandfather, Franklin Benjamin Harris, and the rest of the family. Here is what I do know from family information/records. He was born in Wethersfield Spings in 1849 to Eleazer HARRIS and Cornelia MACOMBER(MACUMBER). He married Mary Ann TAAFFE the daughter of Nicholas and Caterine CONNERS TAFFEE on September 20 1870 in LeRoy where they lived for about 4 years before moving to Warsaw, and then to Middlebury, and finally to Perry. He died in 1889 and they are buried in Hope cemetery in Perry. His siblings were: Hanna HARRIS who married William HASKINS of LeRoy Ellen HARRIS who married William KELSEY of Warsaw George W. HARRIS who married Ella BURGESS and moved to Marshall IA Laura HARRIS who married(and out lived)the following men in Middlebury, NY a Mr. KING Mr. Levi PARMENTER Mr. John MORSE Lewis, EVA, Albert and Cora HARRIS who all died as a child His children were: Frank B. HARRIS (my Grandfather) b. 1/20/1879 Warsaw, Wyoming, NY m. Mary E. GALLAGHER of Batavia and Gertrude DALGELISH of Tavistock, Ontario, Canada Edith Cornelia HARRIS GURNEY b. 8/12/1871 LeRoy, d. 5/18/1956, Perry Eva May HARRIS b. 10/16/1873 LeRoy, d. 11/22/1891 Francis Agnes HARRIS SMITH b. 8/5/1876 d. 1958 m. Carl Durand SMITH of Victor NY Blanche Helen HARRIS McDowell b. 6/14/1881 Perry m. Frank David McDowell lived in Perry LeRoy Eleazer HARRIS b. 3/19/1886 West Perry? d. 11/2/1910 Mildred Isabelle HARRIS b. 7/29/1888 in Perry. Lived on Benedict St in Perry My grandfather lived in Perry in the 20's and cut ice on Siler Lake. They also lived at the Lake at the foot of Chapman Ave. and my father and aunt went a one-room schoolhouse on Rt 39 just south of Chapman Ave on the West side of the road.
