Thank you for all the contributions for the new St. Cecilia's Website. I added 1/2 of St. Cecilia's Church Cemetery photos today. You will find a map of the cemetery which I broke into sections. If you click on a section it will take you to the names and where they are in that section. You can then click on a name and it will take you to a photo of the headstone. I am working on an alphabetical index for the sections to make it easier to find a headstone. I will soon be adding the 2nd half of the cemetery so please keep checking back.Barb has a great 1853 platt map of Sheldon that is now on the site. If you pull up the map and click on an area you want to see it will take you to a close up so you can better read the names. Barb has also sent photos of the priest of St. Cecilia's. Scott has sent a great photo of St. Cecilia's when it was a woodframe church. If anyone has more information or photos of the church I will be glad to post them. I will also be adding a ne! w section for anyone that would like to add thier family information. If you have a biography of anyone that is buried in the cemetery or that attended the church I will also create a page for each person as information is sent to me. I want to especially thank Barb Durfee, Sheldon Town Historian who has agreed to co-author the page with me. Also, a huge thank you to Scott Barvian for everything he has contributed. He has offered to write a history of the church.
