OOPS, so sorry, list! I forgot to take rich text off when I sent the earlier email. Deepest apologies! Trying again! Going to send the newspaper article separately. _______ Hi! The attached article about the renovation of the Doolittle house was recently published in the Batavia newspaper. The house does look wonderful, once again. If anyone has any old photos of Wethersfield Springs they would be willing to share with me, I would be very grateful. I am writing a book about the Boddy family that once lived there (and also in Hermitage). There are many Boddys in St. Clement's Cemetery. (Little pun!). Would especially like photos of the "old tavern hotel" and St. Clement's Church as well as the Eli Rood Homestead. Elizabeth Boddy married David Porter ROOD in 1850. William Boddy was the deputy postmaster in 1870 and also ran the Boddy Hotel. He was a member of St. Clement's vestry for many years. Randy, you asked about the county historian. The Wyoming County Historian is Doris Bannister and the address is Wyoming County Historian's office, 26 Linwood Ave., Warsaw, New York 14569. The wonderful quarterly publication Historical Wyoming is still being published at the nominal fee of only $7.50 a year. Sincerely, Patricia Boddy Tharp "Patty" _________________________________________________________________ STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
