Comparing the two, the 1933 list contains a number of typos. Perhaps the original source was handwritten or otherwise hard to read. Typos aside, all the 1933 entries can be found in the new list... which suggests that none of the 1933 gravestones have been removed or become unreadable since then. The earliest gravestones date to the early 1890's. The site of the 1840's Sheldon mission (log cabin) church and cemetery is believed to be nearby, according to a monument next to the Bartz Rd. cemetery. However, I am not aware of any traces of the pioneer cemetery that can be found today. The 1933 list does not mention any either, nor does the St. Cecilia's FHL microfilm.
