Hello List I am looking for Cavanaughs in New Rochelle and am wondering if anyone can help me. What Cemetery would someone be buried in if they lived in Drake Avenue in the 1930's? Hi Margaret: There are 2 main cemeteries in New Rochelle: Beechwoods, which is non-sectarian, and Holy Sepulchre, which is Catholic. Holy Sepulchre belongs to Blessed Sacrament Church in New Rochelle. I would begin your search with those 2 cemeteries. Good luck! Thank you Bryan. That probably means that if my ancestors died in New Rochelle they were buried at Holy Sepulchere as they were definately Catholic. Is there any way of finding out if they were buried there? Does that cemetery have any records online?
