I believe he was a farmer and school teacher.... Daniel Haight Chase 1821-1901 resided in Furnace Woods, his daughters, Ellen Ann and Lucinda Jane ..Daniel.H. Chase taught school in Putnam Valley NY My grandfather William H. Brown, born in 1902 was related....He Had two brothers, Frank and Robert Brown ..Mother's name was Irene Miller Brown, her father was Jacob R Chase..
