Born in Ireland November 1848 (per 1900 census), Joseph (a plumber) married Mary O'Neill (born Sept 1855 in NY). Children: Mary (Jan 1876-1908, died in NYC of some sort of seizure) Gertrude (Oct 1885?- ) Anna (Jan 1886-30 Aug 1938) Reverend Mother Cephas- Ursuline order of New Rochelle Helen M. (Nellie) (June 1881 - ) school principal Joseph (Jan 1892-1948) Anita V. (July 15, 1894- ) teacher Death notice in NY Herald states that Joseph H.'s mother Ellen died on 11 Mar 1885 at her son's residence in Mamaroneck at the age of 74 and her body was interred in New Rochelle Cemetery. Does anyone have info on these McLoughlins? I'm trying to determine if Ellen was Ellen Heslin of County Longford, if Joseph H. was the brother of William McLoughlin (1847-1920) who also lived in Westchester County, and the names of any other siblings.
