His son Daniel Secord fought as a Loyalists during the American revolution. Next comes another Daniel Secord who also fought with Butler's Rangers, married a Mowhawk lady and was granted land near the Mohawk chapel in Brantford, Ontario. His son Daniel Secord owned land and a farm in Oakland, Brant county, Ontario.Next was his son Daniel Secord. His daughter Mary Ann Secord married my great great grandfather Peter Holly Edy. Their daughter Emma Loamma Edy married Maurice Sharp and they had a farm in Ancaster, Ontario. I remember the birthday parties held each year on her birthday August 24th. Her daughter, my grandmother Emma Albertha Sharp married Ithamar Norsworthy. My mother is still living in Ontario.
