Stephen was the son of the Goody Elizabeth Clawson that was accused of witchcraft by Katherine Branch. I am researching my notes because the names you mentioned are familiar. If it helps any I believe that Samuel may have been born in Rye NY in 1692. I think Samuel's parents were Stephen Miller and Mary Loomer they married in 1683 and had John 1684, Mary 1687, Elizabeth 1695-1718, Samuel 1692- 1786 and Martha 1689... this is all I have I know I saw this line in my notes.
