Her name was Margaret and she died in an automobile accident in New Rochelle, NY in 1916, she was 28 Ralph B. Feriola went to court in order to represent young Margaret's estate. Does anybody know of a Genealogist or Historian that specializes in Philipsburg Manor? I cannot seem to find the answers to wife's family myself, so I am ready to cave in and hire some help. William Yerks and his son Harmen were tenant farmers on the Manor around the time of the Revolution. I am looking for information that will help us prove that they were considered Patriots of the Revolution. I found an old souvenir book that lists them as members of the East Philipsburg Militia, but I cannot seem to find any further info about that. I also found a tree that indicated that William's wife, Catherine, filed for a pension. I cannot find that pension application. Thanks. Philip Hayes Philip L.
