    3. Supplimenting my UNDERHILL family email: I found that Bartow seemed to have the least amount of information on my suggested ancestral line, and he is possibly also confused with his son Bartow as well. The information I have found online includes: Bartow Sr 1) (son of Nathaniel UNDERHILL and Mary HUNT) was born 23 October 1725 in Westchester County NY Is this information from the Underhill Genealogy volumes, or another source? Some sources have Nathaniel married Mary HONEYWELL, however I think they have confused Nathaniel and his son Nathaniel. Mary UNDERHILL is mentioned in the will of Grace HUNT (nee FOWLER) widow of John HUNT. Source: "Wills of Early Residents of Westchester County., N.Y., 1664-1784" by William S. Pelletreau A.M 2) Bartow died before 26 March 1786 in Cortland Manor, Westchester County, NY, Would anyone have any suggestions or sources for this date please? His place of death seems to have some confusion as well. Another record has: "Bartow was born October 23 Anno 1725; went to Pictou, Prince Edward's Island. He died before Jan. 5, 1787." This is a part of the record " ...taken from the original record in the family Bible of Nathaniel Underhill, the page being presented to the Underhill Society...." Did this record include the Pictou, PEI in the Underhill Genealogy volumes?? Or was it added later? Or did the researcher confuse Bartow with his son Bartow (who went to Canada??) 3) No records seem to be available for Bartow's marruage to Sarah (Unknown)?? 4) A source says Bartow was a farmer of Cortlandt Manor, Westchester, NY in the area known as Yorktown. I have contacted the various sources via their webpages, but "they got their info from another..." or "its the only info I have.." or no replies, but the information (such as the above) must have originated from somewhere?? 5) During the French-Indian Wars, Bartow was an Ensign in a Militia Company in the North Battalion of Westchester and on the eve of the Revolution was a Captain of the same unit. Now there must be sources available for this information?? Would anyone have any suggestions for sources which would include (and expand on) the above information please? Would there be any NARA records for the above for Bartow? Reference Numbers for NARA records? and my last bit of information I have found online: 6) In April 1775, Bartow was among the Westchester Tories who met at White Plains to protest and pledged their loyalty to the King And again..... what could be the source of this information please? Would anyone have any suggestions for sources which would include (and expand on) the above information please? Would there be any NARA records for the above for Bartow? Reference Numbers for NARA records? Any little bit will be greatly appreciated! Many thanks Marg Smith Mardi, NSW Australia
