I lost my third grt grandfather at the battle of White Plains and have nine members in the DAR. Where there Loyalty lies is still a question. I think they were on both sides. Garrison I believe was Patriot but wifes family not, Fowler same. Many denied ither. I guess afraid. I believe Underhill comes in is from Brown and Fowler.
