Although my Reynolds lines are almost as confused as my Sherwood ones, I would be most interested in the Reynolds Cemetery. If I recall correctly, i originally had a Rebecca Sherwood married to Jonathan Reynolds. Their daughter Rebecca married Thomas Hobby. The difficulty was with Rebecca Sherwood, and i have since disconnected her from the line, partly becaus the ages were wrong and partly as a result of the following article: Gordon L. Remington, FUGA, ""Rebecca Revisited: The Unidentified Wives of Angell Huested and Jonathan Reynolds of Greenwich, Connecticut" The American Genealogist, vol. 73 ," July 1998, pp. 201-06. I now have Jonathan Reynolds married to an unknown Rebecca. To complicate matters further, i am also descended from Angel Huestad and his first wife; thus I am descended from both of the husbands of the unidentified Rebecca. The best source i have for any of this is Donald Lines Jacobus, compiler, History and Genealogy of the Families of Old Fairfield, 2 vols in 3,, (Fairfield, Conn: Daughters of American Revolution, 1930: reprinted Baltimore: Genealogical Publishing Co., 11976), Vol. I, p. 317. Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated. Barbara L. de Mare, Esq. My ancestor, Rev. Denton KEELER (1789-1886,) a Methodist circuit rider, worked up and down the Hudson River communities and was living in Westchester County at the time of his death. One of his daughters, Catharine (Cir1817-1872,) had a daughter that married into the Cross River REYNOLDS family. A few years ago while living in Manhattan I corresponded with a lady by the name of Jane Fox, a REYNOLDS descendant. I did visit that Cross River cemetery in 2002 and recorded some of the stones. If you want what I have I would be happy to share if it will help. I also can give you Jane's email address off the newsgroup.
