Thank you, Carol. Since the brith date of 1780 is calculated from cemetery records, I will not change that. I don't know how I came up with 1790 for the marriage date. Based on the birth dates of the eldest 2 sons (based on census records 1810-1860), the marriage of Elijah and Polly (Lyon) Pinckney should say bef. 1800. This would make a lot more sense.
