    2. Maureen, I see by your reply to Ed that you have an interest in the Sherwood surname. I'm wondering if you may have come across a Daniel Sherwood, my "brick wall". I do know he was born in VT, but my grandmother stated they came to NY from CT. I've never looked at Westchester County, but I suppose it's possible. Bruce A. 3. Bruce, I have a Daniel Sherwood, born ca 1668, married Tabitha Bennet, died without issue 1715. He is a son of Stephen Sherwood who was made a freeman of Greenwich CT in 1664 and migrated to Rye, Westchester County before 1668. Stephen married Rebecca Turney. Stephen is my 8th great grandfather Maureen ----- Original Message ----- From: <keukakid16522@pngusa.net> To: <nywestch@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, February 20, 2007 12:17 AM Subject: Re: [NYWESTCH] Colonial Families of Westchester County - > Maureen, > > I see by your reply to Ed that you have an interest in the Sherwood > surname.
