I may be descended from the Thomas Sherwood born 1586 in England. This line is a little shaky, as all of the pieces don't really fit. Some alleged persons in the line are the wrong ages to be where they are. According to my database, this Thomas had a son Thomas who married Ann Turney. I don't have a Rebecca Turney. If anyone has good information on the Sherwood line, I would be most interested. Barbara Barbara L. de Mare, Esq. Barbara, Son Thomas had 4 wives, the second of whom was Ann Turney, sister of Rebecca Turney. Are you familiar with the Grenville McKenzie manuscript?? If not you can log on to Westchester Historical Society and find out how to order the Sherwood pp. They are pp 610, 611, 612, 613, 614 and 618a. I found them quite accurate for my Sherwoods in comparing them to my family records and my other sources. I've also found MacKenzie a good start for lots of my other Westchester ancestor info. The WHS charges a pittance for the pp and the turnaround time is very quick.
