If he belonged to St. Augustine's parish he may well be buried at the St. Augustine's cemetery in Ossining. It's been a while since I've had occassion to research at the Ossining Historical Society, but I think they have an index for the cemetery. You can try contacting them through their website: http://www.ossininghistorical.org/ ----- Original Message ----- From: MzScarlettDigs@aol.com Date: Monday, February 5, 2007 12:32 pm Subject: [NYWESTCH] 1860-1870 Cemeteries Peekskill >Ossining To: NYWESTCH@rootsweb.com > I am seeking the cemetery for James McGann, who died in northern > Westchester > during this decade. > > He last belonged to St. Augustine's Parish in > Ossining, but previously lived in Peekskill and Verplanck. > > What cemteries might have been open in this area at this time. > > Thank you for your help, > Barb > > *************************************** > Have you checked out the Westchester County GenWeb site yet? > http://www.rootsweb.com/~nywestch/ > *************************************** > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to NYWESTCH- > request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message >
