Marianne- I have a close family member of my Carley line, prob. Joel Carley bap 1748 in Westport,CT, who married Mercy Bouton b. 19 Nov 1758 in Stamford,CT(or New Cannan-townline not clear then). Joel was her second husband. They had Brookens and Electra Carley. She was the daughter of a Minister who traveled from Danbury to Ridgefield to Stamford. I have the name somewhere. Interestingly, several lines of this general Carley family lived in Wilton, New Fairfield and Sharon areas and up in Hillsdale, but they were all in Dutchess Co around the time of the Rev.)-near Wingdale- I am sending a copy of this to my Carley research friend to further define it all.
