My great grandmother Laura Virginia Bouton b.21 Aug 1843 in Lewisboro, Westchester Co. she died 24 April 1924 in Pulteney, Steuben Co. NY Niagara

Certainly these Westchester Boutons are descended from John Bouton of Boston and then of Hartford and then his family of Norwalk/Stamford/Ridgefield/Wilton and Danbury. In Danbury the name was spelled "Boughton". Because one of Wilton/Ridgefield/Stamford married a member of my Carley family and went to NY, I am curious to see the connections and email with someone who follows the genealogy of this large family. I also realize that many families of these Connecticut towns moved into Westchester!
